Green Cards
A green card gives you permanent residency in the United States, the right to lawfully work and travel for short periods. It may be obtained through your spouse, a family member, your employer, or as an asylum applicant or special class member.
Marriage

Our Results
Deportation Order Cancelled
Shortly after Trump’s inauguration, our client came to us worried that they would be deported and separated from their family. Despite having a decades-old deportation order, we got the government to reopen their case and allow them to pursue a green card without leaving the country.
ICE Backs Off
Our client contacted our firm because ICE officers were threatening to deport them. We stopped ICE from taking further action and our client is now able to pursue their green card and ultimately citizenship through marriage to their U.S. citizen spouse.
Deportation Cancelled
A border patrol agent threatened to take away our client’s green card over a 30 year old conviction. At the initial hearing, the judge was ready to deport our client. We argued that deportation would be an unlawful and incorrect application of the law. The government lawyer agreed with us and canceled our client’s case. They are now in the process of obtaining citizenship!
Green Card After 25 Years
Our client came to the U.S. in the 1980s and was out of status the entire time. Although married to a U.S citizen, they lost their passport and documents and did not realize they could obtain a green card. We located their original entry documents, which allowed them to obtain a permanent green card.
